In General
- Access to and use of this Web site and the services available at this Web site are subject to the following terms and conditions as set forth in this notice. By accessing, using or subscribing your business to the Web site or downloading materials from the Web site, you agree to be legally bound by the terms and conditions set forth below without any modification. Business Listings
- My Local Services holds no responsibility to the accuracy of any free or paid listings.
- My Local Services offers free Basic Listings, for which there are no charges as well as paid Premium Listing options.
- Free Basic Listings will display contact information, but no web links. They will be displayed randomly in any order, but will be relevant to any assigned categories. Other advertising may be displayed on the same page as the free Basic Listing. Free listings will always be displayed beneath paid, Premium or Lifetime Listings.
- My Local Services may choose to assign an 08 number to a Basic Listing. This will enable My Local Services to track any calls from the free listing, in the form of analytics to help with ongoing marketing, and gauge the success of the listing. There is no absolutely no charge to the Basic Listing, any calls are paid by the website visitor at normal national rate and My Local Services does receive a small rebate which goes towards the monitoring costs.
- Signing up for a Basic Listing will mean you are automatically subscribed to the My Local Services newsletter. Email details will remain completely confidential and will not be passed or sold on to a third party. You may be sent occasional offers from other websites owned by Lowi Ltd. A company can opt out at any time by selecting the unsubscribe link in any newsletter or sending a blank email to legal.
- For Premium Listings, companies are entering into a paid agreement with My Local Services, where My Local Services will display that business on it’s own database, which will be accessible by the general public. Premium Listings will either be valid for a set 12 month term or they will be valid for life.
- Lifetime Premium Listings will be displayed on My Local Services until either the customer requests either verbally or in writing to have their listing removed. Or if contact details go out of date, then the Premium Listing may be removed from the database.
- Lifetime Premium Listings will never be asked for any re-subscription fees.
- Regional Listings are County level upgrades to Premium Listings. A Regional Listing can be requested at any time, up to a maximum of 5 Regions (Counties) per Premium Listing. Regional Listings are charged per area, and with a Lifetime Listing, no re-subscription charges will apply. For set 12 month Premium Listings, Regional Listings will expire at the same time as the Regional Listing.
- By agreeing to a Lifetime Premium Listing, the customer must understand that My Local Services will make contact every 6 - 12 months to confirm address and email details. This contact may be automated, requiring the customer to confirm or update details via the email address we have for the Premium Listing. If a listing details cannot be confirmed in a 6 month period, then that listing may be removed from our database. A new listing will require a new payment.
- A Lifetime Premium Listing is only valid for as long as mylocalservices.co.uk remains online.
- A Lifetime Premium Listing can be cancelled at any time by notifying by email to My Local Services or by Telephone to 01564 794676 confirming cancellation. No monies will be owed.
- For National Listings, companies are entering into a 3, 6 or 12 month paid agreement with My Local Services, where My Local Services will display that business on it’s own database, which will be accessible by the general public.
- For National Listings, at the end of the agreement period, businesses will need to re-subscribe to keep their business listed in the National format, and keep access to functionality provided for Premium and National Listings unless it is a Lifetime National Listing.
- For Lifetime National Listings, this will be agreed at the point of sale and once the initial invoice has been paid in full, no further invoices or monies will be owed.
- Payment terms for 12 month Premium Listings, National Listings and Lifetime National Listings are 7 days. If after a statement letter is sent, followed by a final demand letter, no payment is forthcoming, then the customer will be referred to a debt collection agency for subscription recovery. From this point communication involving monies will be handled by a third party on behalf of My Local Services.
- My Local Services will ensure Premium Listings are more eye catching than free listings, and will give access to any extra functionality that is available.
- My Local Services cannot guarantee that the same extra functionality will be available in all regions, and content may vary dependant on area.
- My Local Services will ensure National Listings have the same functionality as Premium Listings, as well as being displayed throughout the UK for each chosen category.
- If for any reason a business no longer wishes to subscribe to the My Local Services Database, no part or full refund of any subscription fees will be given, except with management discretion.
- My Local Services reserves the right to remove any business, either Free, Premium or National Listing from the database at any time. Examples include business no longer trading, complaints regarding obscene or illegal business practices. No part or full refund of any subscription fees will be given, except with management discretion.
Regional Portals
- My Local Services is not responsible for the quality or content of any associated RSS news feeds or third party content displayed on any regional portals.
- Premium and National Listings may have access to functionality within the portals only where available, and no guarantees are provided as to which parts of the country are covered by a local portal.
- Any content or events entered into local portal event planners are not the responsibility of My Local Services, but My Local Services reserves the right to remove any obscene or inappropriate content or events, or content that has been subject to complaint.
08 Telephone Numbers
- My Local Services is an authorised re-seller of 08 Regional Numbers. Services are provided by 08 Direct who are part of Core Telecom Ltd. Any business that takes up the offer of an 08 number is entering into a relationship with 08 Direct and any queries issues or problems will be handled by your assigned 08 Direct contact.
- If you are unhappy with the service you have received from 08 Direct or have a complaint, then you will need to contact Core Telecom Ltd directly.
