Barnoldswick Royal Mail Delivery Office | Sorting Office

I missed a delivery this morning, the card left wasn’t very clear where my parcel now was , rang to find out ... we’ll what an amazing bunch these local guys are, my parcel had gone back to the sorting office,
Within 10 minutes my parcel was redelivered to my house by a happy cheerful guy ( think David was his name)
I find Barnoldswick postmen friendly and helpful .. well done guys keep up the good work

On numerous occasions I have had a parcel delivered and the post person delivering said items has knocked on the door , does not even wait or give me chance to get to the door then the parcel has been left on the door step, I live on the main road how is this a responsible delivery method , a bright yellow package left on a door step on the main road , luckily I was at home on this occasion but obviously when my parcels have not been received it makes me wonder if they have been delivered but taken and as I have not received them then the wholesaler has had to replace them , I think you need to review your policy on leaving items on peoples door steps
