Would never use again charged a minimum of £45 to do a process of elimination on my coolant system as it was overheating then 220 for a thermostat supply and fit and then changed it to a thermostat and water pump which was £320 supply and fit and the manager guaranteed me Over the phone that this will fix it they said they left it running for an hour and a half without any overheating problems I got it back after paying them had it £20 mins whilst idling and it over heated took it back and they wanted to charge me more money to fit a new radiator supply and fit even though the process of elimination should have found the exact coolant problem they refused to help me resolve the issue at all. The manager shouldn’t guarantee or give his word if it’s not true. When I asked the manger of the branch why did you guarantee that it would fix the problem His words where “well I didn’t guarantee it as such” Which HE DID over the phone. Please tell me what was he minimum charge of £45 for the process of elimination and it made no difference to my overheating problem. Really disgusted with the service and empty promises they gave me. Business response: I am sorry to see that you are so dissatisfied with a partial work that was done to your car. After the initial rework that we carried out and subsequent to my conversation with the customer I found out that 2 other people had been working on this car. To suggest that I could guarantee the work over the phone is not a practice that I would be a part of. The customer had done some repairs prior to bring in to us and we were not given all the correct information at the beginning. When removing the thermostat, we noticed they had cut the thermostat housing and added k seal to disguise the overheating issue. We then drained the radiator and flushed the system as best as we could, but unfortunately farther fault exist with the radiator being partially blocked not allowing the coolant to flow freely. We did recommend to have the radiator to be replaced but the customer declined this..

The centre also offers work on exhausts, batteries and brakes and the installation of an air-conditioning recharging machine. The team will work on cars, vans, 4x4s and SUVs and they will be pleased to advise on the best tyres to meet any driving style.
