Chewton Glen Hotel & Spa

A 7-minute drive from Highcliffe Castle's gothic mansion and tearoom, this upscale country house hotel and spa is set on 130 acres of countryside and is a 1-mile walk from the sea.

Elegant rooms and suites mix classic and contemporary styles. Many have semi-private walled gardens, balconies or terraces. A buggy ride from the main building, luxury treehouse suites with floor-to-ceiling windows offer panoramic views and kitchenettes, as well as a breakfast basket delivered to the house.

From the typically English to the totally cosmopolitan, The Dining Room serves an eclectic seasonal menu. The spa has a grand Roman-themed pool, crystal steam rooms and an outdoor hot tub.
