We first met Kim at a wedding open day, we liked how there was so many other items you can add to your package, not just a DJ. We hired the audio guestbook, Mr & Mrs light up letters and also our DJ for the evening. Kim was very professional and always swift at responding to emails. On the evening our DJ was fab, the dance floor was full all night and he played a really good variety of music. The audio guest book was a great addition to the traditional guest book. Overall we would highly recommend Dave Dee Discos and would definitely them again for future events. We recently used Dave Dee’s for our wedding party and cannot recommend them enough. It wasn’t a traditional reception with no set times for anything or first dances, speeches etc. we pretty much only specified 3 songs for the night and left the rest to them.
The DJ was ace and had a few little tricks to get everyone on the dance floor. We didn’t know they were going to happen and I loved that even more because it was a surprise and so much fun for us. He was great with requests on the night too. The communications prior is also perfect, Kim responded super quick whenever we got in touch and was lovely. Wow, what a fantastic and outstanding DJ Dave is. We booked him for our wedding DJ and he went above and beyond our expectations.
We had a briefing phone call with Dave the week prior to the wedding to discuss our expectations, music taste, specific songs, order of songs such as cake, father/daughter dance, first dance etc and what way things will work best. We told Dave we wanted a good old party with lots of dancing and a wide variety of music and he really delivered. The dancefloor was never empty. He was great at getting the party going. He spoke a little to tell people what to do and get people dancing but not too much.
Dave has a great personality, very likeable and easy going.
He gives out song request forms and endeavours to play at least one song request from each person. Kim looks after the admin side and the email communication through from enquiry to booking was excellent, clear, concise and detailed. They also have extras such as lighting, smoke machines and an audio guestbook to hire for additional fees. We didn't add any extras but it's a nice optional extra and prevents multiple suppliers.
Dave and Kim also take photos and videos during the evening, which was a nice suprise. We have a cracking end of night video which we will treasure!
We would strongly recommend Daves DJ services to anyone considering. His prices were very competitive and they really take the time to get to know your music tastes. Dave and Kim, thank you. We can't recommend Dave enough. He was the DJ at our best friend's wedding last year and when we booked our wedding we just knew he was the DJ we wanted at ours.
We requested Dave as we knew how amazing he was. We had a consultation with him and made some unusual requests but Dave did not dissappoint. Nothing was too much trouble. He made sure there that the dance floor was always busy and everyone got involved.

From the start the communication was clear and prompt including questions asked prior to the evening. Dave called us a week before to discuss our likes/dislikes and style, which went perfectly on the night and everything we could have wanted in a DJ.

Dave was top notch from start to finish. Really good advice and extensive work prior too the wedding. He got involved and got everyone involved to. We had this giant llama as part of the wedding decorations, which as u imagine got very abused with 60 drunk people around. But seeing the photos of Dave with the llama showed how he truly gets involved in the right way.
