So my dog chewed my card, i went to post office to collect but they wouldnt release parcel! However i can produce a bank card as proof of ID? No photo id needed, this is shocking, i could have found a card in the street and just tried my luck! But i didn't have a card so couldn't get my parcel even tho i told them who it was from and the size of said parcel and had Driving license (proof of ID) which has PHOTO, NAME & ADDRESS ON IT! Time to get a grip Royal Mail

The service from the post office has never been good ( letter delivery fine but parcel delivery just awful), whilst everyone else delivering manages to leave with a neighbour or somewhere convenient we have to go the main office to collect a parcel - despite the fact we have a local PO only 5 minutes walk ( they will redeliver there for a fee!!!). Now they have even made picking the parcel up difficult to impossible by removing the few parking places that there were and every where has double yellow lines! Where are you supposed to park - also the wait inside is getting longer and longer. This is not a service!

I have just contated the Post Office Darlington and had to wait for 27 minutes before I could speak to somebody. The person who replied to me was verbally aggressive and unsympathetic. No effort was made to understand my problem, no courtesy given and i ended the converstion with a feeling of frustration and of being patronised.

I sat in till half three on the 10th of May.wateing for my parcel to turne up.so I went out after that then late last night got an email saying I missed them.bit did not receive a card throw my letter box .so I could go and pick my parcel up I think is disgraseful with the service.i thought everybody got a card if you missed them.

Item not delivered. No telephone number so other than going all the way to Darlington, I cannot retrieve my package. Can?t request a re-delivery because no call card was left therefore cannot enter any information relating to the package! Hopeless service.

Hi I live in Brunel Way DL11DY. Our service is very poor. We don't have regular postman, the last regular was Michael. You could time him within 15 minutes. We can see Telford Drive being delivered but we have different postman on the same housing estate.

After contacting your Darlington Office today I wish to commend the gentleman I spoke to. He was most helpful in locating a parcel which was returned in error.

I have received 2 parcels this week 15th and 17 th July of which were both left with neighbors thankful I get on well with both sides , who ever delivered the parcels on two separate occasions did not leave any form of proof or where abouts of my purchases there was no card posted through my letter box , even though the items had to be signed for, Iam totally disappointed with this form of conduct
