It's never nice to write a bad review, but I feel obligated here to warn any potential customers about this company!
I engaged Digital Filmmakers to shoot a music promo video in August 2023. They have taken my deposit and disappeared. Here is a break down of what has happened.
On 7/9/23 I emailed Paul with the finished music to edit into the video. He said then that it would be "in post production for 2 weeks".
On 8/9/23 I WhatsApp'd Paul, asking for a few photos to use in the meantime. This was ignored.
On 20/9/23 I text again, asking how he was getting on. Also ignored.
On 23/9/23 Paul wrote back saying that he'd been ill for the last few days and that the video would be with me by the "end of the week".
It is now 14th October, and I still haven't heard back, despite numerous texts, WhatsApps, email's and phone calls. At this stage I can only presume that the company have pocketed my deposit (£500) and aren't intending to fulfil this job.
If this isn't the case, please let me know asap and I will delete this review.
