Being situated close to a waste transfer centre, we have for years suffered with gull issues, both with mess & staff being swooped on.
Having explored numerous options, some of which were costing £15k plus we decided to give Alan a go & the difference within 2 visits was noticeable. As the year went on the gulls all but disappeared as did the mess & constant threat to staff.
Can’t recommend Alan & his services highly enough & it’s also great to watch!

We have used Allan's service this year to control gulls on our roof, we have noticed a big drop in seagull activity at our premises and are really pleased with results.
Allan is extremely professional in the way he deals with us as a customer and always arrives when he says he will.
His experience in the way he manages his birds of prey on site is great to see and the result is extremely effective in dealing with the task in hand.
We have already asked Allan to come back on site in 2023.

I met Allan by chance with his birds of prey while he was working in Inverness. He instantly came across as very knowledgeable. We witnessed his bird's in action that day before I asked him to quote for the same gull deterrent work at our fabrication facilities. We have tried a wide variety of techniques over the last decade all with very little outcome. Within weeks we witnessed a change in the gulls and they were completely put off from nesting on our premises. The advice and recommendations that Allan gave we went with and with his efforts (a number of times each week) this has certainly paid off. We will be using this low carbon and environmentally friendly option going forwards as it has proven value for money even within one season.

We have employed Highland Bird Control Services onsite for the last two months to control pigeons. They have been professional in all the work carried out so far and i would not hesitate to recommend them for other sites.

I have been a falconer for many years using my birds for hunting wild quarry as a hobby. My passion for bird of prey and wildlife started as a young boy growing up in the Outer Hebrides on the small isle of Eriskay where it is a haven for wildlife.
In December 2021 I decided to make a career doing what i love. I believe that if you truly enjoy what you do then you will naturally do the best you possibly can for your clients and in my case my birds also. Highland Bird Control Services offers Bird and vermin control through out the Highlands and beyond. we pride ourselves with professionalism and the highest standard of animal welfare. We use various birds for a wide range of different sites from retail parks, industrial estates to factory settings to more specialized sites like air fields. The birds we use are all raptors but they are all different species, each one having a specific roll to operate in any circumstances that our clients need.
