Hook Royal Mail Delivery Office | Sorting Office

I realise that the PO are having lots of problems recently and getting lots of bad press, but I wanted to share something really positive about the lovely Post lady I met today who delivers our letters and parcels to us in Hook.

I'd received a couple of emails to tell me that there were two parcels to be delivered to me by Royal Mail today, so when she delivered some letters to me but no parcels I asked her. She told me that there was definitely no parcels as she had checked before she left the depot/office and had one in her hand for my next door neighbour. I explained to her that it was my husband's birthday tomorrow and hopefully they would arrive then. She told me she would check as soon as she got back. Not only did she do that but she came back with both parcels (as there had been a late delivery) which she didn't have to do, but did knowing that they would be here in time for him to open in the morning. What a nice lady! Thank you so much.

Don't bother trying to ring on this number as they take ages to answer and when they do they say they can't hear - probably because you can hear that they are still concentrating on dealing with people at the desk! Better to get in the car and go down there
