Cobbolds is an independent and privately owned family company offering a sensitive and dignified service to help support you through a difficult time and provide you with peace of mind.

We ensure that you are looked after by the same dedicated person from the beginning to the end of the time so that we get to know your individual needs thoroughly and nothing is ever missed. We can arrange everything in your own home if you prefer not have to come into our funeral home. We never charge extra for any personal services such as this. As we are independent and do not have a board of directors to finance, our funerals are affordable.

We will tailor the type of funeral to your individual needs and will never try to sell you anything that you do not want. We offer a 24 hour service manned by Cobbolds staff, not by an agency or an anonymous voice. As such, we get to know you and your family personally throughout.

Kevin has 18 years’ experience of working in the funeral business. He holds the Diploma in Funeral Directing and the Diploma in Funeral Service Management. Kevin holds three fundamental beliefs as a result of his time in the industry. They are:

Firstly, people should be looked after by one dedicated person throughout the difficult time of the death of a loved one so that a personal service can be given to the bereaved family and friends.

Secondly, he believes that bereaved people should never be encouraged to spend more than they can afford and all costs will be made completely clear from the start.

Thirdly, he believes that you should be able to speak to a member of Cobbolds staff 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
