I have just been to post a letter at the box in Kirkpatrick Fleming which should have been lifted at 12 noon today to find that the mail had already been lifted much earlier. I was there before 12.45 and the disc said that the next lift was Monday although the it definitely says that it is 12 noon on Saturdays.
In the past I have seen the postman wait until 12 noon even if he is early before setting off back to Lockerbie.
Very disappointed as I would have liked the letter to have been received on Monday.
