It is impossible to follow up a missing item, which is likely to be handled by this service. Phone numbers are just to a call centre where staff are completely uninterested in the problem you have. They just ask you to submit a claim form, when what you would like is to register a lost item and have it found. You are just funnelled into a "go nowhere" system, with no chance to talk to anyone about the problem you have, except "fill in a claim form - hopeless!!!!!
The post office used to be a real public service where staff were willing to help. This appears to be no longer the case. You are left frustrated and impotent. Hopeless service!!
They lost a package which was supposed to be "guaranteed next day delivery and signed for". There is no number that answers when I call the Mail Delivery Centre. In fact the previous number now comes back as unavailable, or I am redirected back to the "customer service call centre". So you end up going round in circles. Hopeless!!
I need them to find my package, which has a value to me that cannot be easily judged in financial terms. What is the use of compensation money, when you want your property back. Hopeless!!
