Oakwood Eyecare was founded in 1994 by Liz and Tom Jackson and has proudly served our community for over three decades. In 2023, their friend and business partner, DrFarra Hargreaves, joined the practice. Dr Hargreaves brought with her over 20 years of experience in community and hospital work, glaucoma and emergency care, and directorship at the NHS. At the end of 2025, after 31 years of dedicated service, the Jacksons decided to wind down and passed ownership to Farra, marking the beginning of an exciting new chapter built on the heritage of world-class patient care for which Oakwood Eyecare is known.
