PENNINE SHOTOKAN KARATE
We are leaders in Martial Arts, who's club has been running in the Borough of Oldham since January 1983. Families, Group friends, Men, Women & Children from the age of 7years are welcome.
Unlike most other clubs, Pennine Shotokan, are none profitable, so all its fees taken for training are used for the benefit of its students.
The club is run by Sensei Fred Jones who holds Black Belt 8th Dan JSKA/BSKI (world recognized grade). Sensei Jones has competed in many Regional and National Championships and has been placed on numerous occasions, including (BSK National Championships) Grand Champion, held at St Helens in 1993.He is a Senior Referee & Coach for the BSKI, (JSKA GB) and has coached students to world level competition. The club also has other senior instructors, Sensei Emma Jones 5th Dan, JSKA/BSKI. Emma is the clubs secretary. Sensei Darren Bates 4th Dan JSKA/BSKI.
The next beginners course: Tue/Friday 21st & 24th January 2025.
Then Tuesday 11th - Friday 14th February 2025 (When we will be celebrating 42 years of teaching, there will be a extra bonus membership for all new members).
