Not sure about value for money as I am critical of the amount I had to pay to listen to recorded voices in the past, which I neither wanted nor required. However the lady with the lovely Lanarkshire accent who dealt with my query was friendly, polite and efficient. My call was around 13.15 to 13.30 or so on Wednesday 17th May 2017

this is a review solely about 1 person who I spoke to on either wedensday or thursday of last week 14 or 15/8/13. I spoke to Sharon Hill who was extremely helpful, unpatronizing and did not have a problem with repeating things she said so that by the end of the phone call, I , somebody who doesn't know much about tax at all, understood my situation with tax which is very complicated. Everybody else it seems that I have spoken to on the phone at any tax office is annoying, arrogant , unhelpful or just tells me they don't deal with that particular problem and tries to transfer me to some other department, so this phone call with Sharon Hill stands out as something truly amazing amongst usually terrible customer service which I have usually received from any tax office in the past. I'm sure Sharon Hill won't get a pay rise because of this reveiw, but it needs mentioning none the less. She also did what she said she was going to do in sending new tax code to the company I work for. Thankyou to Sharon and maybe her colleagues all over the country in tax offices could take note.
