Rusticmania

Rusticmania is the sculpture practice of Roger Coolbear, an award-winning artist based near Romsey, Hampshire. Roger creates one-off wildlife sculptures, large-scale tree carvings and public art for private clients, councils and community spaces. His work ranges from detailed studio pieces to sculptures carved on site from standing trunks, often combining wood with steel, pyrography and subtle colour. Each commission is designed for its setting, drawing on the shape and character of the timber. Roger uses locally sourced wood where suitable and also creates bespoke benches and sculptural installations.
