My friend and I were stranded at the Thickthorn Service station at about 18:30 . The young cashier, we'll call her, Sam, was so helpful, sympathetic and generous. I'm visiting Norwich from South Wales. We were able to use the clean restroom, have a water and a delicious steak and ale pie while waiting for the taxi. Once again, thank you.

I visited Shell Crigleford on 08/11/19 at 23:03. I am a disabled driver in a wheelchair. My 13 yr old son got out of the car, entered the shop and asked the cashier and attendant if they could assist by putting some petrol in my Dad’s car as he is disabled. Both refused to assist and said they were nearing the end of their shift and just wanted to go home. I find this a disgrace and unacceptable as the garage advertises suitable for disabled drivers. Fortunately a fellow customer who was paying for his petrol overheard the conversation and offered to put petrol in my car. My son then reentered the shop to pay. I feel the customer service is nothing short of disgraceful and both Shell employees should be disciplined for their outrageous behaviour.
