I live in the SL1 area in Burnham. I consistently get mail for other people - different postcode or different address - even for a different area eg Iver! I've asked the postman about this and also asked how he can deliver post belonging to my next door neighbour when the name of the person and address is clearly written. A nice enough chap but he could barely speak and was difficult to understand. (This postman does deliver to the front door).
Recently I received a card saying that a package could not be delivered because it couldn't fit into my letterbox (at the end of my driveway). I was in at the time and couldn't believe that he couldn't walk a few yards to the front door.
I rang the post office and got that annoying automated service and the only option was to arrange re-delivery when I really wanted to ask why the package could not be delivered to the front door.
It was redelivered but not to the front door. It was wedged into the letterbox and 95% left sticking out for anyone to help themselves and this is totally unacceptable. Luckily we got it before anyone else did. I am in the process of making a formal complaint.
I am sick of the continuously poor service we get around here.

Phoning this automated service is very frustrating...You say your tracking number out load and the automated service gets it all wrong...
