South Wales Knee Clinic based within St Joseph's Hospital provides a highly specialist assessment and treatment service for sports injuries, knee problems - including ligament and cartilage injuries - and knee arthritis particularly in the younger and more active patient. A full range of specialist services is provided, from outpatient consultations, diagnostics and imaging, injections including PRP and biologics, physiotherapy and surgical treatment. Conditions treated include ACL injuries, cartilage tears, knee-cap instability or alignment issues including limb lengthening and realignment surgeries, early onset degenerative arthritis (including realignments, partial and total replacements) as well as hip replacement for arthritis.
