Absolutely brilliant service. Martin went out of his way to arrange a time where Lee could access the roof to do a full survey. We then found Lees survey incredibly detailed and useful. He also offers some time to review it over video after which again was brilliant. I have used Domestic Surveys for two property purchases now and I wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

I recently had a Level 3 property survey carried out by Lee Preston and was extremely impressed with the service provided. The report was detailed, clear, and included practical recommendations. Lee was professional and knowledgeable throughout. I would highly recommend both Lee and the company and would certainly use them again.

This is the second time I've used Domestic Surveys/South West Surveyors and I can't recommend them highly enough. Lee produced an excellent, detailed report for me that was easy to understand. His communication was fantastic throughout, and he was more than happy to answer any questions I had. The fees were also very reasonable. I'll absolutely be using them again in future.

A fantastic service from start to finish for a RICS level 3 survey. Initially reluctantly to use due to long waiting time for a survey date and slightly higher cost, but the end result was worth in what we would consider a premium surveying service. The output was a very comprehensive and detailed survey report which was briefed to us to ensure we understood all elements of the findings.

We had Lee carry out a Survey for a Victorian Terrace in Bristol which we had purchased with a Level 3 RICS.
Lee did a very thorough analysis and report which identified the building construction information, all the defects, repairs required and the remedial actions required. This was critical for us and actually helped us avoid what was going to be ultimately a money pit of repairs which were not obvious without such a good survey. Lee was very professional and was great at talking us through the report and answering questions especially for first time buyers like ourselves with Less experience. Great service and prompt report writing. They really had a lot of knowledge and experience on properties like this and the Bristol area and it's housing. Highly recommended!

I had the pleasure of instructing Lee Preston, whom I sourced through Bristol Surveyors, to carry out a survey in a flat property I was in the process of buying in Bristol. Lee was very professional and provided a well-detailed report alongside some friendly advice on possible next steps during the purchasing process.

Lee's survey was very thorough and detailed, the debrief call afterwards was very helpful too. I had to go back to Lee a few weeks after too as I was renegotiating with the seller after the survey. Lee responded promptly to my query and ultimately his survey and feedback helped me successfully argue a reduction of the price to reflect a major repair Lee identified, which saved me a lot of money!

I first spoke with Martin, who was very helpful in laying out our options for a survey. Our inspector, Lee, was prompt, friendly and knowledgeable. He also offered to hop on a call after sending the report, which we greatly appreciated. Overall, our experience with South West Surveyors was very good, and we highly recommend them.

We were recommended south west surveyors by a friend and would highly recommend them ourselves. Martin and Lee were both quick to respond and highly informative. We chose to go with a level 3 survey as we are buying an old house and found this to be incredibly thorough. Lee met with us via video call not long after to discuss any queries and responded really quickly to a further email query we had. We really appreciated the timely completion of the survey and will be using south west surveyors in any future house purchases.

Lee Preston recently carried out a review of works following a full house refurbishment .
Lee was incredibly diligent and thorough. He identified a number of issues (some urgent) which were subsequently rectified by the contractors. I am absolutely delighted with the outcome.
I would highly recommend Lee (SouthWest Surveyors) and will definitely be using their services in the future.

We’ve used Domestic Services twice now for level 3 surveys over the past year, and both times have been genuinely brilliant experiences. Our surveyor, Lee Preston, has been fantastic - really detailed, professional, and easy to talk to.
From booking the survey to the aftercare, the whole process has been smooth and stress-free. Couple things that stood out, turnaround time for the report despite the level of detail and the Zoom call after the survey, where Lee took the time to walk us through the report, explain any areas of concern in plain English, and offer advice on what to look out for going forward. It made a huge difference having that personal touch rather than just reading through a report on our own.
Unfortunately, both properties ended up falling through for reasons beyond our control, but we wouldn’t hesitate to use Domestic Services again for our next purchase. They've made what can be a really stressful part of buying a house feel much more manageable in the sense that you have absolute clarity on what you're walking into.
Honestly, absolutely worth every penny - we can’t recommend them enough!

I had a Level 3 property survey. Lee Preston, the Surveyor was absolutely brilliant. He produced a very detailed report with clear recommendations.
Lee offered a zoom or telephone option to discuss the report and I had several conversations with him during the conveyancing process. Lee was extremely helpful, providing advice and support during what was an incredibly stressful time.
I would highly recommend this company and Lee in particular and would certainly use them again in the future.

Lee recently carried out a level 3 survey, and his help has been invaluable. I've been impressed by the quality and rigour of his work (easily laid out in a 95 page report), and would definitely use his services again.
As a first time buyer, the call to talk through the report and any other questions was particularly useful. Lee took the time to walk through what he would/wouldn't immediately worry about, what temporary fixes might be available, the expected time and cost of making the fixes good, and also what I may be able to do myself. I feel incredibly well informed, and really valued him doing this.

We are very pleased by the service provided by South West Surveyor's for a level 2 survey on our new house in Bristol, which we booked through Domestic Surveys. Lee did a very thorough job looking over the property and providing us comprehensive information about the condition of the house, including lots of photos, and Martin of Domestic Surveys did a great job organizing the survey and responding promptly and efficiently to all our emails. Would definitely recommend!

We were purchasing a 1980s build house as a downsize and had Lee perform a level 3 survey for us. We were somewhat suspicious about why a previous buyer walked away so wanted a proper job done. And Lee really delivered. I come from a family who work in construction and although I do not do this myself am pretty knowledgable in some areas. I thought the over 80 page report was clear (it had one small minor mistake but none of us are perfect!) and it very much helped our decision to proceed and also helped us negiotiate the price down a few thousand. Also I feel I know everything there is to know about the house I will live in for the forseeable future. I heartily recommend Lee to you.
