Swadlincote Royal Mail Delivery Office | Sorting Office

I had a large envelope to be delivered today , despite my husband and my self being home , the postman delivering to Rosliston, Swadlincote, Derbyshire did not knock the door , walked straight past my sitting room window across my front lawn to next door leaving a sorry we missed you card , no you didn?t miss us , you didn?t bother to knock ! This is not our usual lady , this was a male postman who can?t be bothered to do his job properly and gives the post office a bad name

Amazon parcel had gone missing and was not at my local PO. But tracking info said it was. Tried to call Swadlincote sorting office. The tracking number has to be given verbally. Sadly the automated voice keeps cutting in, to interrupt this process. Tried redialling to speak to someone but it would be easier to contact the dead. A waste of time.

Linton PO eventually found my parcel. It had been delivered to Castle Gresely PO by mistake. Despite the Linton address being very clearly marked on the parcel. Royal Mail, no wonder you are struggling to survive in a competitive market. I will go back to using the local co-op as my pick up point in future. It's further away but they do know what a customer looks like.

I tried to ring the sorting office at Swadlincote in an attempt to track down a parcel. I was connected to customer services who told me I would not be able to speak to the sorting office and they could do nothing about my parcel without a tracking number. I do not have a tracking number as this item has been sent to the wrong address by the company. It has been sent to my old address in Stanton, I now live on the Wirral and my local office was happy to check through and see if there was an undelivered parcel for me.
There is no point in having questions on a service which is not provided. The inflexibility of the system used by Swadlincote is totally unhelpful.
