Teignmouth Royal Mail Delivery Office | Sorting Office

I was at my property Saturday morning and heard the door. The slip had been put through stating one minute ago. I opened the door and there was no one there. Obviously did not bother to wait a minute to see if someone would come to the door.

I don?t work locally so the next working day for me to collect would be a week on and not easy to set up redelivery to local post office.

I have a secure place to leave parcels so why did they not leave it there ?

I was left a card telling me to collect an item they were unable to post AFTER 9 am I arrived at the post office at 9.15 after finding somewhere to park and paying the fee, I then stood at the back in a line of 7 people, I got to the counter at 9.40, had to produce ID was then told the item was "not down yet" and to come back in a hour, I explained the card said 9 am, and that I had been waiting for 30 minutes had paid for parking and I was going to be at work until after 6 pm, could she please go upstairs and get it for me, I was told in a "sharp tone" NO she would not, if she wanted to she could have helped, she could not have cared less about the situation, why put 9 am on the card if it wont be available until after 10.30? again because they don't care. terrible service very unhelpful staff member, with a monotone attitude.

I was expecting a delivery on Saturday morning of a rather expensive plant. The post office delivery man did not even ring the intercom bell, just left a ticket to collect on Monday when the plant will probably be dead! This is the second time this has happened where the driver has not even attempted to deliver the parcel.
