The Gilded Press

The Gilded Press is a private hot-foil and letterpress studio in Eastbourne, East Sussex. I specialise in short-run presentation boxes, luxury business cards, and bespoke printed pieces on heavyweight board. Every piece is pressed on vintage machinery using traditional hot foil blocking and letterpress techniques. Nothing is produced on a digital production line. I work in small batches so each piece can be adjusted until the heat and pressure are exactly right. Everything is finished by hand and inspected by eye. This is not fast print. It is careful print, created for independent jewellers, photographers, designers and makers who want their handover to mean something. pressed. kept.
