Truro Royal Mail Delivery Office | Sorting Office | Post Office Collections

Would like to say a big thank you to Dev and Cliff two wonderful Royal Mail workers , whilst working at a completely different postcode to mine they spotted a parcel addressed to me outside some flats , they very kindly bought the parcel with a value of over ?100 safely to me , it had been left there by another delivery firm. Both Dev and Cliff are always extremely pleasant when arriving with letters and parcels but went out of their way on that day to ensure I received my parcel safely . First class service from them both they are a credit to Royal Mail.

The post office will blame everybody else for any problems encountered. Once your parcel is entrusted to them IT IS NOT. Sorry the parcel was handed in to a post office and that is separate from royal mail. It was then passed on to a postman to take to the sorting office who works for royal mail. Sorry but the parcel was parcel force 48 so was nothing to do with royal mail. It. was entrusted to royal mail to deliver it to parcel force. No it was parcel force nothing to do with royal mail. So why was a postman who works for royal mail carrying my parcel in his van. Do not know you will have to ask parcel force. Ever felt like tearing your hair out?
Moral is do not use royal mail. Use a private courier which as a private company has to take responsibility for its actions unlike the post office where it appears the civil servants do not care and are just waiting for the redundancy payments when they have run it into the ground.

I have just been delivered a letter to my address, the postman had scrunched it up whilst putting it through the letter box. This is terrible.

I would just like to say a massive thank you to the lady who served me at Truro sorting office this evening. The problem i had she managed to get sorted out for me, i was so worried about it and she telephoned me to say it had been sorted. Good old fashioned customer service, fantastic, i now have one very happy daughter and i feel so relieved :) Thank you again :) :) :)

I have just posted mail at the Hendra Road box, Truro, and notice that although it is 16.50 hours on Monday the box shows that next collection to be SATURDAY. I hope there was a collection on Saturday.
