Whether you prefer to hit the gym, give climbing a go on their indoor wall, try a variety of sports and activities in the versatile sports hall, the University of Derby Sports Centre has something for you. The centre also boasts two squash courts, two outdoor tennis/netball courts, two group fitness studios, a group cycling studio and even a couple of outdoor 3G synthetic pitches.
Our fantastic gym is packed with all the very latest fitness equipment that will help you reach your goals.
Our two group fitness studios play host to our fabulous variety of classes. Whether you’re after an intense Les Mills class or a more relaxing Yoga or Pilates session, you’re sure to find a class for you.
We also have two outdoor 3G synthetic pitches, which can be hired for a variety of different sports. The upper pitch is marked out for 11-a-side & 5-a-side football, while the lower pitch is marked out for Rugby.
The spacious sports hall plays host to badminton and basketball sessions.
Our climbing facilities are extensive. Along with a minimum of six high ropes leading you up the main wall, there’s a bouldering section, a lattice board, finger boards for training, as well as lead climbing facilities.
