Watford Leisure Centre Woodside has all the facilities you’ll need to stay active and have fun at the same time. The gym features state-of-the-art equipment designed to suit all fitness needs, while the two pools play host to our award-winning swimming lessons, alongside many other activities to suit swimmers of all ages and abilities. You’ll also be able to enjoy a plethora of group exercise classes, designed to suit everyone, while the sports hall hosts table tennis, badminton and five-a-side football. We also boast a squash court and have superb creche facilities too.
FORTIS is a fantastic new HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) workout that’s perfect for people of all ages, abilities and fitness levels.
We’re incredibly proud of our new state-of-the-art group cycling studio that can accommodate a class of 30 at any one time and is our perfect complement to our other three studios.
Our comprehensive 184 class group fitness programme which now includes 88 Virtual Les Mills classes that cater for all sections of the community.
Our state-of-the-art, 140-station gym was recently awarded ‘Gym of the year for Watford’ and is now 100 metres long.
We have two pools, a 25 metre, eight-lane pool and the other is a smaller teaching pool, each of which caters for swimmers of all ages and abilities.
