Facebook launches new TV App...

Apparently the only screen Facebook is currently not dominating is the big one in our homes, that being our TV. The social media site are trying desperately to further the platform, and looks like they might have just thought of a way.

For those of us who use Facebook, we know that it can host a lot of videos, such as vines, news stories and anything anyone else decides to post really. But wouldn't you like to view those videos on a bigger screen, such as your television for the whole family to see. It beats passing your phone around a million and one times, and by then it just gets boring.

Facebook is about to roll out an app which will make passing that phone around just a little bit easier. Users of the social networking site that have Apple TV, Amazon fire TV and Samsung Smart TVs will be able to watch Facebook user generated videos directly on their own televisions. The announcement of introducing the app itself runs alongside the platform wanting to become more video friendly and be a main feature of the site. Since the 'Facebook Live' has gone so well Facebook want to carry on the success and begin to compete with other networking platforms such as YouTube.

Interesting...  If you want to read more ...
