Do you read flyers through the post?

A few years ago I done a small job for a brick layer, he asked me to post 200 flyers around my local area, all together only 5 people got in touch with him, and out of them 5 people 2 people asked him to do a job, this doesn't seem like many but if you think of the cost of 200 flyers, and the profit he made of them 2 jobs it was probably worth it.

It really depends on what you are selling, takeaways do well as these are useful and people tend to keep them. Flyers are not that expensive so it is probably worth giving it a go.

I do have a quick look at flyers. The vast majority go in the bin but I'll keep the odd one or two if I think it may be useful.
I've never tried using flyers myself but it's something I may consider. I doubt it would give me the same return as online advertising though.

I actually do have a quick glance at any flyers that come through my door, whether that quick glances turns in to me reading the flyer depends of my initial first impression of the flyer itself and if the service is something i would possibly be interested in.

Flyers can still work in this day and age of Internet marketing. As long as you design your flyers well, there's a good chance that they will attract attention and get read regardless of your message.

I have found a few suppliers who advertise in local free magazines. These are either delivered to homes or are available in local businesses such as hairdressers might be worth giving that a try.

Thanks,
