It is best to work on links naturally than get them via automated norms - eventually and it would just be a matter of time when Google gets you for it.

If you are all for short term goals on your website, then it's your call if you wish to go ahead. But if you are for the whole 9 yards - I suggest you stick to really investing on creating great content and promoting it naturally to your niche.

I agree simple old methods work best "Rome wasn't built in a day" springs to mind with SEO it takes allot of time and is very hard work

Completely agree - Google's primary aim is to provide its users with genuine content that best matches users' search terms thus they are very hot on ignoring and even punishing platforms that threaten the quality of their search results. Not worth it.

My advice is 'do not use it'.
Google is looking for false methods of generating links, and it is more than able to 'spot' such simple techniques.

i use backlinks genie and 24/7 backlinks from that i get a choice of blog comments, web 2.0 sites, forum posts, social bookmarking x-rumer profiles, and article posts

will this work negativity for me or will any of these boost my rankings?
thanks jack

They may well (and prob will in the short term) boost your rankings, but I'd be very careful. Personally I wouldn't touch them with a bargepole, as already discussed, linking profiles take time to establish and need to (at least appear) natural.

Google has said that in 2012 it is targetting webspam, this is advert saturated sites, and sites with un-natural linking practices.

I would imagine social signals will (if not already) be targeted.

A brand new site with 1.5k FB likes, and 1400 Googles+1's isn't natural

agreed with you there. I think the best advice I can give right now is to stop thinking of ways to workaround search engine algorithms and start thinking more about how we can make our business (website) more relevant to our target customers with optimization in mind.

I would rather send link requests manually than use the site you suggested. Doing the former is much more fulfilling and has better chances of getting a positive response from potential clients.

Being an SEO amateur myself (only just got into to it really) I am more inclined to take the hard road, I think I just prefer the control of where I am placing the links so they are relevant to what my business does

I have stumbled across a website that helps you gain free backlinks to your website which will help with your Google rankings.

I have just started using it, but at present it will only allow me to submit to 25 sites once a day. The reason I am referring this site is that if you join by clicking on my referral link below it will not only get you started free, but will allow me to submit to 100 sites 3 times a day and will give me more benefits.

Thank you very much.

Here is the referral link.

Hmmm....think about using this carefully. What are you actually getting for free? Links that could, and mostly likely will damage your overall link building efforts and your sites inclusion in Google.

I consider any tool that offers 'free links' as one that is essentially offering you the chance to game Google, which Google has measures in place to spot. So when they spot them, they spot you, and your site.

If you value your site, and its your main income then simply don't take the risk.

There is never an easy route to getting to the top both in terms of running a profitable website and getting to the top of search engines.

You can bet free back links for your website with the help of SEO. There are many tasks like directory submission, profile submission, forum commenting, top commenting by which you can get free back links.
