Over the last few days, Google has rolled out a major update across google.com
Currently it is only live in the US, but will be rolled out elsewhere shortly.

If the 100 articles you've created over the last 3 years get devalued because the article directory has been hit by the update, then that will hurt your links. As with all google updates, it's never straightforward, the aims are normally admirable, and this latest one is primarily because people are fed up with some of the crap thats in the index. But I bet there will also be casualties caught in the crossfire. This will show who has a broad and wide ranging link strategy as well as quality content. Yes, but you can do allot of work and it will never be enough, Fresh, Unique, Useable, USeful CONTENT will ALWAYS be on top something that people can use, IF you have content that is useful to people then it will get links to it, and thust making your link building easier Its not just simple 1 2 it has to be an on going thing and a mix of everything but those are the 2 main factors Thanks, Kevin.Wiles
