Hi

We have just discussed this on the busienss forum check - Google Page Rank Thread

Thanks,
Kevin.Wiles

Google page rank is depends on the back links and traffic and website content of a website, Google is giving much more importance for this PR.

Sorry I don't agree, Google will never be able to pay huge attention to this rank becuase people simply dont use this tool. Thier has never been any update on the web about this form of SEO like thier has others.

Thanks,
Kevin.Wiles

Hopefully, it will have certain impact as it has all the times! Because it has been after a long time Google had updated PR. So, I think the recent PR updates are still in test mode to confirm with the facts if Pagerank has any effect in keyword rank of a page.

Page rank is numeric value assigned to a site by Google. Lots of factor contribute towards crafting a website's Page rank. The quality content, the HTML design, number of visitors to your site and many other things are there. A good PR obviously reflects a site's credibility. Plus, a low PR site can surely beat a high PR site by applying enough SEO techniques at the right time.

Yes a low PR website can outrank a high PR website. Just go to Google to confirm that very easy question.

How pagerank effect in website ranking Reply to Thread:

1) Users are more likely to abandon pages that take longer to load.

2) Viewers who feel that the site takes too long to load pages feel less satisfied with the site as a whole and are less likely to return to it.

3) Slower sites may find themselves slipping in SERPs, lower page ranks means lower SERP rankings also.

4) A website

Ranking is more important then Page rank because Pagerank is a grading system of Google but Ranking is the position of your website in Google using your targeted keywords. But link on high PR websites is effected to your website's ranking because Google give's high priority to links with high PR websites, when Google update your ranking.

The PR depends upon the traffic as well to some extent. However the quality of Content is the deal......

Hello,

There are no relation between the Page Rank and Search Engine Ranking. If you have a high pr but that not implies you will be top ranking for keywords. The website has 0 pr still they are top in ranking.
