As allot of people know on the forum article marketing is one of the best ways to promote your website adding small anchor text within your article which links back to your main website but do people think we will see the death of article marketing now because of the new Google update?
I bought this question up because we know for a fact allot of the big article sites have been hit and hit hard so just what do people think, will we see a new link building technique coming in or will articles still be the trump card if written well?
Personally I think articles can and always will be good for SEO as long as they are well written and they contain useful information instead of sales pitches.
Maybe the jury's still out? Ezinearticles.com took one big hit from Panda ... then another. So apparently did lots of other similar directories. I'll carry on posting ezine articles - at least for a bit. Linda CareersPartnershipUK
But with the new update in place will people see that they will now have to try allot harder to write a good article Thanks, Kevin.Wiles
I agree Article Marketing is a good source of back links and I can't see that diminishing. garlex
ezinearticles have a battle plan to overcome their issues, and the reality is, even post Panda, they are still a huge traffic generator. Article quality will go up, spam will diminish, so that has to be good for everyone. I think its duplicate content that caused half the probs, people posting the same article acrosss the board. Do a well written article, published on one good article directory and be happy with any link juice and promotion that gets you.
No, article marketing is not going to die since its a fortified source for SEO and getting back links but i believe that the real quality content and genuinely did article marketing will survive. Before the companies were overflowing the directories with thousands of articles, of reasonably low quality, just to enjoy a higher Google rank and traffic, that has created a situation of oversupply with respect to demand, that practice will be discouraged now. I think the main reason of the update was to shock the article directories into filtering out low quality spam articles that are simply the same article re written 10 times over. I know this is alot of what people to do in a way to promote there websites, but i guess it now about the quality as opposed to the quantity.
I think although some of us haven Thanks, Kevin.Wiles
I think for artcle directories to survive as a viable marketing tool they will have to reform how they are set out so they are holistic sites with other strings to their bow - so to speak - than being article farms. If google starts whacking article sites with page ranks of 9 and not including it in search results it doesnt matter what the content is like - its where it is located. People will vote with their feet. content on the web will get better which has to be good and article directories will have to offer more than just being directories.
“No.. Never die article marketing in future.” As with writing excellent web content -its not just finding the right words - its putting them in the right order as well.... |
