Forum Posting is Still Effective

I use a few forums. What makes me go back beyond the initial period of initiation is the people and information on it. If I have a choice of going to a couple for 10 minutes or so I will, without really thinking about it, go to the ones I enjoy being on and reading. I think this one has a nice mix of education and general interests plus some nice peeps who aren't overloaded by ego. Bill Ryan

Some believe that it really isn't wort it at all.”Heres a classic example: (from a Google UK search) advanced publications - Google Search Top spot - owners website 2nd spot - wikipedia 3rd spot - a forum 4th spot - a forum (us) 5th spot - a forum 6th spot - owners website again Bearing in mind the forums aren't particularly optimised, as its just a general topic. Just shows the power of forums, albeit positive or negative
I can see that. Seems to be a lot more negative there as well. Do you think that, maybe because of this, people use forums when they want to get someone's attention after battling with them for some time with problems they don't seem to be able to sort out?Thanks, Dreamraven |
