Hi,

Google+ Project is now live.
BBC News - Google+ challenges Facebook in social network battle
Well, Google has learn well from Orkut and Buzz, although the basic interface and layout quite resembles with facebook.

There has been experienced mix reviews, some have welcomed the Google Project happily as they have got sick of daily notifications from the farmers and aquarium keepers and using the same applications daily.
Whereas according to the facebook lovers, when they have all of their contacts at the same site then why to switch to another site.

Well, its obvious that its not going to kill facebook instantly as facebook keeps a huge market share. It took brilliant initiatives and altered the social networking theory absolutely, definitely it would take some time to impress the market of 700 million users.

Lets see who will be the killer and who will be killed?

Interesting stuff, looking forward to this going live, then no doubt we will all be adding +1 buttons to our sites

I just found a load of +1's have been created for my site - yet I don't even have a +1 button on it.

I think its Google Account logged in users adding them via the search results.

Looks likely to become a factor in the Google Algorithm as its appeared as a metric within webmaster tools.

Anybody had a look at Google+ this certainly seems like they've finally done a cracking attempt at beating Facebook at it's own game...

..will be interesting to see how this one fares.

I do like the circles concept - good for controlling privacy.

Moved you to our Google+ thread

Yep do like the circles idea, looks they are coming out with a few good ideas, and reacting to peoples weariness over farmville rubbish and suchlike

Just need it to go live so we can have a proper look...

I feel that kind of thing is also available on facebook, where you create a list of your favorite friends, and customize the privacy settings of your photo albums videos and other stuff to make visible only to that list.

Yes, this time Google has fired back with thorough planning and vigor.
I have experienced its structure,

The basic layout is pretty similar to facebook, except the color scheme.

So far I'm liking the +1 scheme, It's pretty good although a blatant copy of Facebook's 'Like'.
I think it will easily rocket up in popularity, Google are a huge company and have many loyal 'followers'? Including me.

Ok, so decided to put a toe in the water and try out this +1 button.

Have added it to our directory homepage, and also business listings.

Looks a bit bare at the moment, I have a grand total of one +1.. me
