What they don't tell you though is that out of those people most probably 90% of them are using it for Facebook or twitter

lol cynic Been closely watching our mobile site analytics, and its currently growing at 9% a month, and attributes to 10% of our traffic.

Adsense wise it only attributes to 4% of revenue, but still a nice earner.

Had a few teething probs though, created a super slick cut down version of the site, but forgot to include things like activation links, and other functionality which we assumed people would only do from a PC. Oh well, we live and learn

Everywhere you look out and about people are mostly just doing stuff on the mobile while out in public, so it's only logical to assume that already in any given household you get a queue forming to go onto the family PC (as it's usually the best one in the house, or has the fastest connection) so in time people all want there own 'connection' online through whatever hardware provides the best, so it seems inevitable it's going to go 'mobile'

It is like the matrix in that everyone is plugged into something or another at any given time, TV, PC IPOD or sleep seems to be the only default settings...

Whatever happened to conversations or thinking! Bah! Humbug...

Don't be knocking the matrix, as soon as I get old and infirm, plug me in, then I'll be a 20 year old rockstar

In fact, plug me in now!

I take it your in the Agent Smith Camp then?

According to the film you already are plugged in..

The whole Matrix series is actually a fabulously eloquent metaphor for the mind and how it works..

I actually see the matrix as a possible answer to the UK's aging population, increased welfare and residential home costs.

Big hangar full of blue rinses all plugged in and with a big smile on their face, rather than sat in a chair all day staring out the window

Unless you have plug holes all up and down your arms and you connect to the internet via a USB in the back of your head? then your already in 'The Matrix' (according to the boundaries of the film) > maybe your just not following the White Rabbit?

We're building a voluntary Matrix. Our version, My Local Matrix is still in beta. You really don't want to know where the USB cable goes

Tbh i never thought that there was much point to having a mobile site, but I am starting to see in one of my websites, that 10-20% is from mobiles. This does make sense that mobiles would use it as its an emergency or if you need it quick. Plus it is first on google places so makes sense.
