Seems this would be common sense, but then again - can't blame desperate people for resorting to desperate measures.

How many times must it be clicked I wonder before it flags up?

That's an experiment I'll gladly let someone else play with!

Yea...lots of valuable tips around but not sure which you were referring to in this case.

I had a friend who opened 2 Adsense because he had bank accounts in 2 countries and they banned one of his accounts saying it was against their terms and conditions.

He had one account in his home country and he had a Thai bank account as well but he thinks they traced his IP address he was logging into both accounts, or he was using both pub IDs on on the same sites!

We've got 2 different adsense accounts, going to 2 different bank accounts, as they relate to different businesses, which is fine.

More likely he was doing something a bit untoward, or as you say using both pub ids on the same site

It's just not even worth considering trying to game Google by clicking your own links.

It is so much more worthwhile thinking about how to get actual visitors to click adsense ads. I played around with an old site I put up years ago and went from

I do wonder sometimes if Adsense devalues a site. I have it on an information page on my site, but I would never put it on the main pages.

I had also found when I did try it out that I had many competitors ads pop up and it was a regular fire fight preventing their pages. In the end I stop bothering with adsense as it was too much of a distraction from my core business.

I think thats the key, it depends on your business type. If your sites primary function is to sell your products and services, why dilute or confuse it with 3rd party ads.

"...technically you can appeal using the form below but its as likely to be as successful as applying to NASA to be an astronaut and listing your only qualification as being a cleaner at Burger King"

hahaha did they seriously say that? At least they have a sense of humour.
