Find partners who are receptive or interested in your audience. If you have enough traffic, then plenty of potential partners will come knocking on your door.
Other than traditional adsense or affiliate as pressurewashing suggested, does anyone else have suggestions about monetizing your website, or is it a closely guarded secret? 
There are also many ad networks offering CPA offers, creating and selling your own product, capturing your leads, banner advertising to add to the list
I'm only into affiliate marketing and I know about google ads. Unfortunately, I don't know more. This is very interesting. Please keep me posted. BFL
Criteo is another possible option, currently looking at them now. Apparently they work in conjuction with your adsense units. Theory is if they can give a better return than adsense, you show a Criteo ad, if not, you show a google ad.
SEOAndy uses Adsense, one in sidebar and if I suspect a post will be big I will add a banner to it... doesn't make much but covers the bills. My SEO Consultancy services make the bread and butter though...

never tried any video stuff, maybe you can claim any adsense that is clicked on the actual video? They run adsense at the bottom of vid's now don't they?
How do people find your website? No people means no customers so you need to advertise the website but how do you do this. Some ideas:- 1. Focus on a niche - provide good content - get people to the website by using keywords and phrases - give them something free for capturing their email address - introduce/sell other products related to the niche. 2. Use video on the website - publish on YouTube and other media - links to your website. 3. Use PR to announce what you are doing. 4.
