what type of promotional products help us.?By printking Published 30th August 2012 | Last comment 9th October 2014
Why don't you try pen, key rings, t-shirt, erasers etc. as these kind of things stick around a lot, especially if they are unusual and not the norm! johnmartin
There are loads and loads of options that one can choose for promotional purposes. Some offer discounts over their product offerings while some offer goodies. But first you really need to evaluate your target audience, divide them into different categories. Based on this, you can short-list a couple of products that should interest majority individuals. Or you may give an option for people to choose. Hey, that just gave me an idea. Why don't you short-list a couple of them based on your preferences and your budget and run a pole. This should definitely be fruitful. ![]() WHUK_Barb
Agreed - It really depends on the sector or TA you are targetting and where you are targetting them. If is just in general then I suggest choose something that you know will get used. We have given away branded pens, mints, USBs, corporate folders purely as they we have had feedback that they get used. If you are a printing company then think about what best will represent your company. “I suppose another question is what do you want them for? ie a particular event, such as a business show, or just for general use? We went well over the top when we decided to do a large Business show years ago. We had logo'd umbrellas, keyrings, whistles (what were we thinking!), baseball caps, badges, balloons and enough sweets to rot the teeth of Birmingham. On the larger scale it was liveried taxis and a radio campaign. In hindsight we spent far too much, bought completely the wrong kind of products, and if anyone wants 5000 decaying yellow whistles, let me know ![]() Moral of the story, think long and hard about what you want, and don't go mad! If you want to know about the promotional products for marketing then you can provide customized Business solution, Messaging services, Domain name services, informative blogs, Gadgets information and new launching reviews are also useful and these are promotional in fact. ![]() sadiyakhan
I think giving discounts is the best promotion you can do. But if you're talking in terms of products then stationary like key chains, pens etc are good. You could also use mugs, t-shirts, mouse pads, bags etc etc. Or something similar to your product. You know a miniature of your product. That would be great. alicemenezes
“In my opinion, this types of promotional products can be precious for promoting business. Opening lines of communication, Drawing attention, Brand recognition, Gift or Re-Gift, Target audience and Sell more or make more.” hmm, ok, then what would your best promotional gift be that you've used? Thanks, Dreamraven
Some things are just banal - pens, lighters, etc. If you come up with an ide, which is directly related to your business, and make a branded promotional product - then the conversion is much higher. I have seen a cell phone repair company, providing a small telephone accessory, which cleans your touch pad. I liked the idea. You know, it doesn't really matter what the product is unless it relates in some way to a.) your business and b.) it's useful to the end-consumer, i.e. your customers! No use in giving them a salad serving spoon which will only lie around in their drawer (although maybe if you had a cooking school that wouldn't be such a bad idea). There are sooo many great online promotional product websites out there, make sure you read their blogs as they can provide valuable insight and help with your decision making.
I agree it depends on your budget, audience and what you're trying achieve. As Steve mentioned its easy to get carried away and end up with left over items that you just can't give away! There's a lot of hype around 3d printing that may be worth exploiting to get you noticed. I've referred to this elsewhere in the forum....it is the useful things that people take and keep that are the most popular and although I wouldn't have believed it pens always struggle to be beaten for best promotional product. In education we used USB sticks alot and put certain info on them, need to be careful that customers don't overwrite it though. Pens were really popular with this market as everything was budgeted and had to be accounted for. Angela My views & opinions are my own |
