Its possible. You just need to make sure that the infra red signals used by the keyboard and mouse are in the receivers line of site. Unless you're using Bluetooth for the connection? How stuff works has a post on how to do that - With a little information added in as well. TV to PC Hope that helps

Thanks,
Dreamraven

Yes, it is possible - in fact, I have a similar one set up here in my house. I am using Bluetooth connection though and I think that's more practical and convenient against the infrared ones where in, like what Dreamraven said, should be positioned on the line of site of the signal.

In my home office I have a wall mounted screen that is plugged manually into the PC box (for newbies PC box is a technical term which means the box where you put the cd's in and plug in your modem etc) then the keyboard and mouse etc can be wireless from the PC box - Sometimes this is good, but as with TV remotes, objects tend to walk from room to room.. and the screen is one that can have a tv, pc etc all running into it, I'd go to look at Widescreen TV's and see if the can run the PC monitor rather than the other way round.
