Is Bing even relevant?

I would love to hear arguments as to whether it is even worth the trouble or consideration to optimise for Bing?

I have seen little to no increase in traffic whether I am at the top of the organic listings on Bing or not.

Now this is my kind of question

2 traditional schools of thought, optimise for Google, and it's as good as done for Bing. Or put some effort into specific Bing optimising, accepting traffic will be minimal, but there is also good scope for cheap conversions.

With the web slowly but surely moving into semantic search relying on structured data rather than keywords, and all search engines keen to get involved, then I suspect we will be back to "optimise for Google, and you are optimised for Bing".

But Bing is really pushing the boat out now in webmaster tools, and webmasters are getting google update weary, so is this an opportunity for Bing to grow some market share? Be nice, but I suspect nothing much will change.

We get little traffic from Bing, compared to Google, but our comparative conversion rate is much higher on Bing, so I guess it's down to what value you put on Bing conversions.
