Google Doubleclick is part of Googles advertising network. It allows you to serve Google ads, 3rd party ads, as well as sell your own advertising space. If people ask to advertise on your site, then use doubleclick, if they don't, use normal adsense.
Hi, Google double click is good how ever if you are going to use third party ad tags it can cause some issues with the delivery of those. We have a number of clients that used DFP and adsense to start then move away to other ad serving solutions once the business had grown as the implementation and trafficking of additional ads can be quite confusing if you do not know the terminology.
