Mama C

You may need to spend some time checking through what terms customers would use to find your website

Take a look at Google Keyword Tool and then base your keywords on the results that would suit your business best.

fantastic! Now your new mission is to get to the top of page 1 in the next month

..and really liking the new look site, looks great

I've been googling again.. I'm no.1 on my last check... I'm as happy as a pig in poo!

Does it make a difference if you're using different web browsers? The reason I ask is when I check on my ipod with safari it's often a different result than on Internet Explorer (sorry have become ever so slightly
obsessed!)

It's normal to become obsessed with it - (I still am 8 years down the line) but you must get into the habit of pressing the following before checking rankings.

ctrl+shift+delete this will clear your browsing history

Goolge stores info on the sites you have searched for and will then serve them back up to you at a later date if you have shown some interest in the link before.

Many people fall foul of thinking there are on page one only to find that the browser has stored the info from a previous search

Thank you tom, I didn't know that! I'll remember to do that, don't want to be lulled in to a false sense of security!

Tomsk is right, again.

Adding to that, you can use this https://adwords.google.com/select/AdTargetingPreviewTool for cookie/cache free searches, as google see's them, because even if you clear your cache, a lot people log straight back into their google accounts, which also affects it

Just wanted to say how lovely your site looks. Very easy to navigate, clear and impressive - well done!

Thank you Martina, I'm really pleased to hear that, thanks for the feedback.

Well, was I reminiscing or was I feeling peckish... ...I can't remember but either way I was wondering how Mama C Brownies was getting on, so I did a search on Google, Brownies Home Delivery and it was in the number 1 spot on Page 1.

So I hunted back for this thread, and have now searched for brownie delivery referenced eariler in this thread and it's in 2nd place on Page 1 of Google.

Looking at the website, I'm impressed. Whilst you can see where there may be some tweaks required I have to say that a lot of work has gone into it and clearly the business is going well, looking at her tweets she had a new kicthen in (with 3 ovens!) in December so it must be all go!

It's good to see a success being made of it - plenty of other promotional work as well, Mama C's Brownies - News & Offers and has even introduced the chocolate brownie club last month.

Very good - Well Done Nadya! Feel free to pop back and offer your words of wisdom....

Fantastic to see a success story.

I hope Nadya does pop in and let us know how shes getting on
