Dear All Coastal Business Big and Small
My name is William Jackson. I am currently in my final year at the University of Portsmouth undertaking a degree in Construction Engineering Management. My aim is to investigate how current community engagement and stakeholder acceptance in offshore wind farms can be developed and improved using the proposed Navitus Bay wind farm as a case study.
I have created a quick online opinion based survey which should take no more than 3 minutes of your time.
One of the stakeholder holder groups i have identified are Coastal Businesses mainly due to the fact that the development of an offshore wind farm can severely affect your business and drive away potential customers. I believe that through your participation i will be able to produce a reliable and solid study which aims to provide recommendations not only to offshore wind farm developers, but also national and local authorities. Your opinion matters and could alter the way businesses are affected by offshore wind farm development.
