Think it might only be you that is loved up...... the rest of us are to busy working....

so having travelled around the country driven something like 14000 miles, blown up one engine, viewed 46 houses, had untold rows with lying estate agents.... we finally move, biggest mistake was trying  to move ourselves... took 3 days, smashed a shredder and printer.... driving 8 cats 120 miles meowing the entire journey at all different pitches was no funny all.... 1 cat has been a pain in the backside and decided not to come with all of us.... but then changed his mind and is now sitting on his own in an empty house wanting me to go all the way back to pick him up....

Why am I seeing dots between people's names? Just thought I'd ask......

I think he's answered your question as to why the business has not sold over the last 2 years.... I personally would walk away.... Having said that a friend has just sold her corner shop which was thriving as she had built it up over 30 odd years.... The new owners went in and all the previous customers which were loyal to the previous shop owner, went elsewhere......

I didn't think DMOZ held any weight these days... use to spend my entire life getting myself listed in all these directories, paid people to get me listed was in all the top directories and then everything imploded... Having spent years and untold money on directories and linking, decided never to go down that route again.... The new website I had to get done now just floats around and generates enough work, without the need for linking, pay per click and directory listings.... which suits me fine..

Oh and one other thing, I think DMOZ lost some of it's credibility because if you knew where to go you could pay someone to get you listed..... I used a Lancashire SEO company to do it for me, it only took a week to get listed. Other than being listed in the so called holy grail of directories, I'm not entirely sure there were any benefits of being listed.........

I'm quite happy for the MOT to stay as it is, as you say the potholes, speed humps, missing manhole covers all take there toll on a vehicle.... when I took my van in last year for an MOT although I knew the steering was knocking a bit, what I didn't know was that a bearing had gone all caused by bouncing up and down on are roads.... So it failed its MOT and that was at less than 40,000 miles.... Also not all vehicles have all sensors, some are optional extras, and some vehicles like my pile of French crap only display a warning sign after the cam chain has snapped and the piston rods have done irreparable damage... Had a sign come up and said a year earlier that the cam chain is due for renewal I would have spent the £300 - £500 getting it changed.... But it didn't, it waited until the final moment whilst I'm in the middle of the countryside at 8pm with no phone signal absolutely nothing apart from laughing farmers... The only sign? Switch off engine! you couldn't make it up.... It needs a complete new engine, and have been quoted £5k and upwards on a vehicle with a book value of around £8k....

I'm not sure I agree with banning Trump, after all he was democratically elected and as someone who is fortunate to live in the supposed free world this is what we are suppose to believe in 'democracy'. I don't particularly like Trump, I think he's an idiot, I think his presidency will be a one termer or somewhere along the line he'll get impeached or shot... maybe both But the UK needs to remember currently we are already trying to put up barriers with the rest of Europe, do we also want to put up barriers with the US? We'll end up as a blob on the landscape and isolated.... The good thing about both the US and UK political system is, is that no matter how powerful you become and no matter how much money you have, there are systems in place to protect the countries they serve... As another commentator said, if the UK is quite happy to suck up to nations that cane their men and women in public, chop of their limbs not forgetting their heads because this is their justice system..... Then giving another democratically elected leader 10 minutes of our time isn't a lot to ask, whether we agree with the lunatic or not...

I had that one the other day and another from CPS enforcement ltd for parking on private land.... Apparently they got the vehicle details from DVLA..... Which is a bit odd as the vehicles I currently have belong to Enterprise....... I assume the link takes you to a payment site? Never bothered to click the link myself........

So how does everyone think Mr President is doing in his new job? Or is that a silly question?
