“It just reminds of "telecom crimes" happened there in Shanghai. It has been days. Old people always get scammed on the phone.Calling are from overseas countries, like Thailand, Maylaysia, taiwan, and etc. They use software to alter telephone number and turn them into numbers like 110(police station). Scammers called in when young people are outside for work.Their targets are middle-aged and old-aged. They pretend to be polices or judges, saying, your bank number is controlled by criminals. You have to transfer to a safe account offered by the"police". To make it feel trusted, they will ask you dial the extension. Then another "police " will try again to persuade you to make bank transfer. After the phone call, the old are alarmed and frightened. They hurried to the bank and made the transfer without notifying anyone. Because the policemen told them not to tell anyone about this. This is confidential, lol. Having done all this, they feel not right and report to the police. Many people fall for this. Many criminals are imprisoned. The curtain falls. It is totally a farce, i think.”
I have seen that the hackers as well as the scammers are quite smart and intelligent brains.
Ah, the world wont be as bad place to stay if they contribute their intellect for some welfare.
