)”I think what most people don't understand is there are millions of directories out there and most will be a complete and utter waste of time to submit your site in. What you need to do as a general rule list in themed or niche directories that are relevant to you. Avoid most general directories as they generally list any site and will not have much weight with Google. My local services is a regional directory and so has a theme. I have 2 directories 1 business to business and the other smallholder related again both with themes, these are the types of directories you should look at
