“There's definately a lot of media sterotyping, with conjured up images of Romanian gypsy caravans heading West, and worries of floods of unskilled labour pouring into the eurozone.
But some of it I think comes from genuine concern, looking at the sharp rise over the last few years of East European lower skilled workers in some areas, with added pressure on local services. Even our local Tescos and Morrisons has a Polish Isle, and we've got a few East European Neighbours, who seem to operate submarine shifts, going by the number of cars/adults versus bedrooms
