Ltd company starting up - Checklist help... 5th October 2012 1:21 PM
So in short I'm a Frontend Developer (websites) and i've just started to take the plunge into contracting/freelance work and have started my own Ltd company.
My dad's a freak when it comes to laws and HMRC and has given me an ear full. thumbsdown But on the plus hes got me thinking. So after a lot of words i'm stumped and confused by everything that needs to be done.
I have a registered Ltd, will not be registered for VAT as my dad said its not worth the hassle. Is it worth it? I have already completed one job, but here's what i think i need to do to go forward correctly.
Any help would greatly be appreciated.

- Find a good accountant
- Find a good software for invoicing (lots on this fourm)
- thats as far as i've got :/
