Happy with our caravan been away a couple of times now. Handover video was helpful and the staff assisted over the telephone with our first ever set up issue. Not a problem with the caravan, just us newbies. Would recommend.

Where do I start with this.....at the beginning.
We purchased a caravan here over 18 months ago now. The purchase price was a little over priced in my opinion as compared to competitors at the time.
I tried to strike a deal with the owner, and he wasn't giving a lot but said I could have £300 off or have the Starter Pack included - consisting of;
- water carrier
- waste carrier
- electric cable
- battery
- water pump
Let's go through these one at a time.
Both the water and waste carriers arent rollable - they are to carry and when they are full let me assure you they are back breaking. Checking on the internet they are £15 each to buy brand new. Needless to say I have had to buy rollable alternatives for both as when full I simply couldn't carry what this Company provided me with. That's the reason you see rollables used by 99.9% of other campers.
The electric cable is only 10 metres long, and as I have found out in a few campsites this simply isnt long enough. Therefore I have had to buy a longer electric cable.
The battery seems fine.....for now.
The water pump seems fine.....for now.....however I was told it wasn't new and refurbished at the time of sale.
The first point I'm making here is.....DO NOT opt for the option of the Starter Pack as it is shocking quality and nowhere near 300 quid as the owner will have you believe.
Now to taking the caravan home and checking it over. There were various issues with it - not major I'll be honest but quite a few of them. I was given a 6 month warranty when buying the caravan (12 should be standard in my opinion from a dealer) and I was also heavily impressed that this Company were 1 of only a handful of quality approved workshops in the entire UK. With this guarantee then I expected my issues to be resolved quickly and easy.....this was far from what happened as the measly 6 month warranty wasn't worth the paper it was printed on.
I was met with resistance both trying to book it in for repairs, and also when it was there (2 times) I was met with resistance that not all issues could be repaired.....strange from a Company stressing to me before the sale that they were 1 of only a handful of quality approved workshops in the entire UK.
A few issues were sorted but not all. I had to pay another caravan dealer to properly grease the caravan feet because this Company insisted it had been done prior to sale and refused to do it again on both occasions my caravan was there for repairs. I also paid another dealer to replace the breakaway cable that was sub-standard but this Company told me it was sufficiently OK.
Now to my 1st ever outing in the caravan. The kitchen sink blocked the 1st time we used it and I had to get my dad to drive over to where we were staying and bring a plunger, and thankfully it worked - and the residue that was blown from the pipes was clearly a build up over a number of years (I still have photograph if required to show it to anybody at any point).....the point I'm making here is that prior to sale I was told that the caravan had been fully serviced and checked for all issues prior to sale, and as part of that I would expect a simple test to check that water drains away would be done.....clearly it wasn't.
I can confirm now that to this day the silicone in the toilet/wet room is still not dry in all areas, and for that reason we have never used the shower.....ever (anybody is very welcome to come and check my caravan now to verify this).
Finally why the review now 2 years later ?
We have just come home from what was meant to be a 2 week holiday, and on the 1st night there (3 days ago - Sat 24th July) my family and I were sat in the caravan and noticed a strange smell, and upon lifting the front seat to see the electric box, there was fumes/smoke coming from it. Long story short we isolated it, slept in the awning as we didn't feel safe in the caravan, paid for an electrician to come and check it the next day who said it had melted inside and could have ended in disaster, he couldnt repair it and so we then packed up less than 24 hours after arriving and went home.
I found an approved repairer and sent it to him, and today had a phone call from him that he had repaired it...but...that it wasnt the original electric box in my caravan but a cheaper alternative.
I cannot say that this cheaper electric box was installed by the Company I bought the caravan from, but all things considering, my personal opinion is that it was.
I will never buy from this Dealer again and I write this review for everyone else to make their own judgement if even thinking about buying from this Dealer.

We are delighted with our Swift caravan we found staff really pleasant to deal with not pushy at all. Top marks must go to Mark for demonstrating and showing us everything we needed to know about the caravan. Will recommend this company to friends.
