Unable to deliver a parcel so left a card saying to collect. The card was not read and my Grandson was checking every day for his parcel, his Mum was away . I contacted the Nottingham Road, Loughborough Delivery/Sorting office after 12 days and a lovely lady checked the post code etc and told me that it was still there. They are going to deliver the parcel tomorrow and leave in the porch. I am so grateful to the kind lady. The internet was useless so a human being came to the rescue. Brilliant customer service from the Loughborough Delivery Office. Thank you

I have been sending and receiving parcels for about 50 years and I have always been well impressed by Royal Mail Service. I often have to collect parcels from my local Sorting Office (when I am not at home to receive them) and I have always found the staff extremely helpful and efficient. At the Collection Point I have occasionally witnessed difficult and abusive "customers" panicking and complaining about their parcels, and these people have been handled with patience and professionalism by Post Office staff. This is a skill in itself! In all these years I have never had a parcel lost, either sent by me or to me.

Although the postal workers have given me a faultless service where I feel let down to-day is no one in any never mind the Post Office organisation in todays' world id really interested in provideing customer service. A lot is said and demanded by employers these days of customer service but where is any of that when you try to phone them them?
No one bothers to answer the phone; if it isanswered it goes to a call centre who DO not give the personal touch never mind thier efficiency rate the poor soles are under pressure to meet targets!
I wanted to talk to the sort office staff to-day but got NO answer.
My cutomer rating should read worse than I have credited it with.
But all this is to be seen as giving good service who will act on the complaints?
